The Alphonse Mingana collection, named after his donator, a specialist of Christian Orient, is mainly composed of Syriac and Christian Arabic manuscripts as well as of Islamic manuscripts. More than 1000 codices are gathered.
Five Ethiopic manuscripts are to be found in this collection. Two have been so far digitised and are accessible on line.
