Medieval Latin Hagiography

This web page is divided into five subsections. The first provides a brief general guide to web sites dedicated to hagiography in general. The second starts by presenting a brief selection from the traditional bibliography of the subject, indispensable for any research in the field of Latin hagiography. It also lists websites which present a more complete bibliography, at least of one particular area, either in printed or virtual form. The next two sections consider how to compile a dossier on a saint; how to locate manuscripts; and how far it is possible to consult certain works online. Finally, in the last section, we take a look at sites which make it possible to follow the evolution of research in hagiography.
