The Israel Museum
The Archeological Department of the Israel Museum holds finding from the Byzantine period (326 – 636 CE) which saw the building of numerous churches and synagogues. The department holds ecclesiastical architecture, mosaics, oil lamps, and coinage which reveal a rich variety of imagery.
