 The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Zemaljski muzej Bosne i Hercegovine), Sarajevo
The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Zemaljski Muzej Bosne i Hercegovine) is located in central Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established in 1888. The Archaeological artefacts of the Museum’s medieval collection comprise of around 11.500 items dating from the 6^th to the 15^th century. The most impressive part of the collection is the exhibition of artefacts from the medieval fortress of Bobovac which was the seat of the royal family during the 14^th and 15^th centuries, as well as the two open-air collections of medieval Bosnian tombstones – stećci. The archaeologists in charge of the medieval collection are Lidija Fekeža and Mirsad Sijarić.

 Museum of Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka
The Museum of Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka was founded in 1930 as the Museum of the Banovina of Vrbas. Its medieval collection comprises of 1457 numbered items mainly from the territory of Western Bosnia from the period between the 6^th and the 16^th century.
