H-Soz-u-Kult is a generalist information site for historians. In particular, it includes a large number of summaries and reviews of publications and conferences.

The site Sehepunkte is also a precious source of reviews.

Much useful bibliographical information together with conference announcements can be found on the site Arbeitsgemeinschaft außeruniversitärer historischer Forschungseinrichtungen in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Work group for historical research organisations in the German Federal Republic).

Worth noting is this web portal devoted to medieval literature (with links to many sites and data bases devoted to manuscripts).

And this teaching site for learning to read archival documents (quite similar to the site of the École Nationale des Chartes).
