 Society for the Study of Medieval Bosnian History
The Society for the Study of Medieval Bosnian History – Stanak, was founded at the end of 2010, within the History Department of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. Its foundation was primarily motivated by practical needs of medievalists of the History Department, and elsewhere, to broaden the scope of their activities and to present them in more accessible forms, as well as to enable the easier gathering of useful information from the field of medieval history. The Society has its own website which provides news about events and publications dealing with medieval history, as well as giving information on projects and research in medieval studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the neighbouring states.
