Medieval Latin

The sites considered by this page are for the most part dictionaries (that is to say, projects which aim to provide an exhaustive description of the language of a particular country or period) lexicons (for a more restricted area) or glossaries (which provide an explanation of archaic words or words in a specialised domain), and text editions. A large number of resources are currently available on CD-Rom or on paying sites. Most free sites are in the course of construction or offer only partial coverage. There are, however, a large number of text corpora available online.
