The museum’s website displays the image of one single illustrated folio, shelf marked Ms. 89, probably an extract from a Gospel from the 14th-15th century, representing Saint John. Acquired from Sam Fogg.
In 2008, the museum acquired from a French collector an illustrated gospel dated 1504-05 (Ms. 102). In March 2010, a study seminar was organized concerning the codex, that seems to have been produced in the Tigrean monastery of Gunda Gundé.
More recently, another ancient illuminated Gospel has been acquired (Ms. 105). It is also attributed to the Gunda Gunde school, and would date from 1480-1520.
The website give access to the digitised copies of the miniatures of these two manuscripts.
