The Massaia Museum display the collections of objects collected by the cardinal Massaia during his stay in Ethiopia, between 1846 and 1880.
In 1932, Silvio Zanutto wrote that the collection of the prelate also kept one manuscript, a Mashafa Genzat.
But in 1989, Rodinson and Beylot only found two letters in Amharic and in Oromiffa.
